Welcome to St. John’s Preschool!
St. John’s Preschool is located on the second floor of St. John’s Lutheran Church, 201 East Main Street, Kutztown, PA. Entrance is on North Maple Street where the ramp is located.
St. John’s Preschool has been operating since 1965. At that time, and for many years to follow, it was known as St. John’s Weekday Nursery School. A few years ago we updated the name to St. John’s Preschool. Originally, the school was staffed by mothers, and sometimes fathers, who served as teachers, assistants, and helpers. These were all volunteers. With many mothers returning to work, we found it necessary to begin having paid staff. We are proud of our school and believe we have given many children a good start in education.
